Welcome to Anukarma, where we blend psychology, yoga and sound practices to foster holistic healing and personal transformation.
Anukarma is a space for cultivating awareness through the body, breath and sound. Rooted in the understanding that lasting wellbeing often emerges when we learn to listen more closely to ourselves, our approach blends yoga asana, biomechanics, somatic movement therapy, pranayama, Yoga Nidra and Nada Yoga. Rather than adhering to a single style of practice, we draw from a range of traditions and modalities to support the unique needs of each individual.
From Hatha-Vinyasa group classes to personalised one-on-one sessions, our focus is not on perfecting postures but on deepening awareness, encouraging somatic release and nurturing the connection between mind, body, and breath.
At its heart, Anukarma invites a gentler way of relating to ourselves -
one that values presence, curiosity and embodied understanding as a guide to wellbeing.

Meet Priyanjali
Yoga & Sound Therapist
Our founder, Priyanjali is dedicated to guiding you on your healing journey through personalised yoga therapy sessions, sound healing sessions and retreats.
Priyanjali is a psychologist, yoga therapist and sound practitioner whose work brings together the wisdom of ancient traditions with contemporary understandings of the mind and body influenced by creative arts.
Her initiation into creative arts started at the age of 4, when she started learning Kathak. Coming from a family of doctors, teachers, musicians and healers, she was drawn towards the subtle science of consciousness and eventually chose to professionally study Psychology and specialise in Behavioural psychology. She later pursued her passion for movement, sound & breath by becoming a certified yoga & sound therapist after many years of study, training and self-practice. Apart from being a certified sound therapist from SVARAM, Auroville; she is also a certified yoga therapist with certifications in Ayurvedic marma therapy, pre & post natal yoga along with advance certifications in Hatha yoga & Ashtanga yoga from Mysore.
Since 2014, Priyanjali has worked with individuals experiencing psychosomatic challenges, combining behavioural psychology, biomechanics and yoga therapy to support healing in a holistic and embodied way. Over the years, her work has been guided by a simple belief: that lasting wellbeing often emerges when we learn to listen more closely to ourselves.
Today, her work brings together psychology, yoga, sound and contemplative practices such as Yoga Nidra and Nada Yoga.
She is also the co-founder of 'Suki Suki Wellness' - India's first women's retreat in North-East India, and 'AYIM' - an experiential business coaching retreat that blends introspective practices, creativity and conscious leadership.
Above all, Priyanjali remains a lifelong student - continuing to explore how ancient wisdom can support modern lives in practical, meaningful and deeply human ways.

Why Anukarma?
A blend of

Biomechanics
Understanding how the body is designed to move helps reduce unnecessary effort, allowing awareness, stability and ease to arise together
Yoga Asana
Not a pursuit of perfect shapes, but a way of observing the mind through the intelligence of the body.
Somatic Release
The body carries the imprint of lived experience. Through mindful practice we create enough safety for the body to let go

Sound Therapy
In Naada Yoga, sound is both a doorway to stillness and a mirror for awareness
Modern research also shows its role in supporting nervous system regulation and relaxation
Pranayama
Working with the breath gently influences the nervous system, steadies attention and cultivates a deeper connection between body & mind
Yoga Nidra
A guided practice of conscious rest that invites profound relaxation while fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation and inner resilience
