I’m a yoga & sound therapist, life-long student and psychologist. I’ve been a yoga practitioner for the last 13 years where 10 years were spent teaching, learning, sharing and holding space. I’m currently a sound therapist and researcher at SVARAM in Auroville. Founder of Anukarma Yoga and co-founder of Farasha sound immersion - I find joy in combining intuitive guidance towards creative arts with in-depth study & research of the exploration of human consciousness. My approach to yoga is through understanding of mindfulness theories integrated with valued wisdom of yogic sciences and philosophy. I believe in the amalgamation of non-judgemental awareness through movement, sound and breath.
Aurovillian born and raised. I was raised in an environment conscious of spiritual and sustainable practices. My methods are influenced by Sri Aurobindo’s integral yoga.
I use a science based approach to physical fitness and well being, that I call the Lazy and Fit Formula. For the last 4 years (since 2020) I have been teaching my method with results that speak for themselves. My approach tackles the body and movement as an interdisciplinary practice that takes both an outward in and inward out approach. Essentially my formula combines the most efficient and effective scientific findings for muscular development into a holistic technique to achieve any physical and psychological goal through movement training.
