These sessions provide a healthy mix of accessible yet challenging practices.  The intent is to be able to understand each pose in-depth and to build towards a more sustained yoga practice. 

Through asana & breath we work towards refining the neuro-motor pathways ; through listening & responding with awareness we explore our ability to be present & through understanding the significance of philosophy & bio-mechanics we carry the practice with us even off the mat to our day to day life.

These sessions are open to all levels and is a great option for those newer to yoga and those wanting to refine their practice. We will build foundational yoga skills and the ability to listen to ourselves kindly. Each week we will explore a different theme through asana, movement and breath work. 

Influenced by movement arts & in-depth study of anatomy, these sessions will explore variations in breath pattern, points of awareness and speed.

Movement, sound and rhythm is what has united humans since the ancient times. From the urban millennials to indigenous folks, everyone connects through dance & music! And this is exactly what we will explore. A unique take on mindful movement meditation by moving to the sounds created by Farasha - a collective that uses the tools of sound healing to take you on a journey of inner inquiry. 

Fun vinyasa, tied together through sound & rhythm - in each class we will find ourselves moving to a collective rhythm and connecting in more ways than one!

About Woven Yoga

Yoga is the art of weaving the threads of the mind, body and spirit to integrate towards a whole.

I don’t weave. I certainly don’t knit. But I’m rather obsessed with how the enriching threads of Yoga can enhance everyday life.

My classes have a Hatha foundation and are strongly influenced by my teacher, Donna Farhi. I aim to provide classes that are informative, self-renewing, fun and accessible to a wide range of students. Classes are theme-based and give room to explore what feels best for the individual. There is a focus on building the ability to listen attentively and kindly to ourselves.

You do not need to be female, be able to touch your toes, or wear Lycra to reap the benefits of this practice. If you have a desire to move with more ease and comfort, connect with the fullness of your breath, and delve into mindfulness, then Yoga is for you.
